The human behind the brand

Natalie Orozco-Moxley, founder of Sunday Mournings, often shares that her grief journey began at 15 with the death of her mother. In truth, it started much earlier—at just 4 years old—when she lost her father to addiction. By the age of 23, Natalie had experienced the loss of her entire family.

Natalie feels her purpose is to change cultural messaging surrounding our grief avoidant culture. Through her healing journey, supported by therapy, somatic practices, and rituals, along with her time working with Hospice of the Valley, inspired the creation of Sunday Mournings.

Sunday Mournings’ mission is to support authentic connections and conversations through heartfelt gifting that supports the mind, body, and soul. No more dying flowers. Sunday Mournings is the home for love and loss, breathing life into pain and reminding us of love’s home.
